Who are we?

The Christchurch Recording Centre has been running for over 30 years, producing quality audio and video resources for global distribution. With high quality vintage gear, mixed with cutting edge technology, we can help you achieve the sound you want in the studio.

We work in association with Christian Resource Centre International, a charitable organisation established to create relevant material for global missions, and resource churches with sound equipment and advice. With this association we can tap in to years of experience both locally and internationally.

	Eddie Simon has a long career in music, from performing with major artists in Canada, music composition, emcee work, through to artist coaching. 2008 New Zealand Gold Guitar Winner for Top Instrumentalist, Eddie is an experienced musician, composer, and producer, and can help you get the most out of your time in the studio. 	Stephen Price has been an audio technician for over 15 years, developing his skills through hands on experience. Stephen specialises in tracking and mixing larger bands, or layered sessions where his technical expertise leaves your project in good hands. Stephen also provides training on sound systems for church sound teams both hands on and in conference settings, and can guide you through the technical jargon that surrounds a recording project.
	Steve Bell has been hosting radio shows from age 15, from morning shows, through to global reach popular culture commentary. Steve has extensive musical and technical skills, and is often called on to cast a producers ear on a session. 	Gordon Prier has been the backbone of technical services at CRC for more than thirty years. Gordon heads up the hire department, and is our technical guru, specialising in design and acoustics for studios, auditoriums and churches, sound system design, and general troubleshooting.
